The Adinah team has considerable knowledge and experience in the telecoms, media, ITC, oil and gas, health care, construction, manufacturing and industrial sectors. Furthermore, we are able to call on a team of private equity, corporate finance, IT and financial associates and consultants in order to provide the correct level of experience and support to its investments.
The Adinah approach builds on the history of its founders who have successfully built and grown companies to scale, including IPO’s and major trade sales over the last 18 years in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Tony Ruiters
BA (UCT), HDE (UCT), Executive Diploma Business Studies (Stanford)
Tony is an entrepreneur and businessman with extensive experience across the financial services, investment banking, corporate finance, asset management, energy, media and ICT sectors. He co-founded African Harvest Ltd, a JSE-listed financial services company, and has played a key role in establishing and growing businesses across South Africa and the broader African continent. Tony has served on numerous listed and unlisted company boards and was a co-founder and former non-executive chairperson of Business Connexion Group.
Riaz Angamia
B.Acc (WITS), CA(SA), CFA
Riaz is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder with over 13 years' Transaction Advisory experience across Africa and the Middle East. His experience spans Investment Banking, Auditing, Financial Management, Regulatory Finance, Competition Economics, Dispute Financial Advisory and Strategy Consulting. He has previously performed senior roles at Deloitte Corporate Finance (Middle East), Genesis Analytics (South Africa), PwC Corporate Finance (South Africa) and Standard Bank (South Africa).
Azhar Dockrat
Azhar is completing his Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Financial Management) at UNISA.Azhar joined Adinah Capital Partners as an intern in 2014. He successfully completed his internship and has joined the Adinah team as a junior analyst in 2016.
Faira Kader
CA(SA)
Faira is a CA(SA) with over 12 years’ experience in group reporting and credit within the financial sector. Faria has been the CFO at Adinah for the past 3 years.
